See More ReviewsI’m a believer! We have a 7 month old golden retriever puppy. At three months of age he went through the Sit Means Sit puppy training. That was a big help. We had been in a very negative cycle with the pup. Our training just consisted of “No”! Scott Sanchez taught us how to train through positive reinforcement. It really changed the whole dynamic of our relationship with our dog. Unfortunately, as he entered “adolescence” he regressed and became a bit of rascal, not following our commands. Recently we completed the 10 day course, and the results have been dramatic. Our dog is very obedient now, and follows all of the major commands right away. I feel like we just got a new dog. It’s been amazing to see. He’s happy and we’re enjoying him even more. Also, I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Scott, Kim, and the rest of the crew have been a real pleasure to work with. The program really works and we can recommend it enthusiastically!
We highly recommend Sit Means Sit. Our 7 month old Labrador just finished the 10 day training with Scott and his staff and we are delighted with the results. Our high energy, strong willed Lab was jumping up on people, tackling the grand kids, running out the gate and “come” was a game of you can’t get me… Normal puppy behavior but it was getting to be too much. At first we felt 10 days was a lot of time to be away from our dog, but in receiving Scott’s videos of the trainings we had continued assurance and confidence that our pup was having fun( lots of tail wagging) and on a good path. We are home now doing our “homework” to reinforce the training. Our lab is still his fun loving, playful self and better behaved. We were hesitant about using the collar but understand it value as one of our training tools and love it now. It is a gentle reminder…a tap tap tap for our 76 lb Lab to come, not jump up on arriving guests and “place”( sit in a marked place) as we drive out the gate. This morning we practiced come, sit, “place” as the gate opened…he did great!…..then I realized I hadn’t turned on the collar. LOL…guess the training is working.
